Teachers’ Bag of Tricks
Spreading the LOVE
With Valentines Day closing in I thought it would be a good time to spread a little love to teachers and companies that have helped me make it through 30 years of teaching!
This is in no particular order:

· My parents for putting up 24 soccer players when we traveled to Norfolk

· Pardow’s for holding a check for a few days when I was a broke teacher
· U of R for letting me use their Astroturf soccer field when speed was my only asset
· J. Bunch for his love of video and photography
· D. Drucker for my first University of Virginia Staff position
· For all the Curry School Professors that contributed to my evolving into “Teachers’ Bag of Tricks”
· To Richmond Montessori School for training me in being a guide
· The School for Field Studies for 6 weeks of learning about real science again
· The Appalachian Trail for providing weeks of escape
· The University of Virginia Hospital for Television shows and summer programs
· The teachers that I taught about “Science Fun” in Richmond
· M. Rushworth for a painting of pencils
· Kings Dominion for the first “Science Days”
· St. Maartens Café for my mug and stress relief
· K. Barbini for an exciting one day job at the Va. Wine Festival
· Carolina Biological Supply Company for my first book, video, columns and cover spread
